Commercial solar panel installation: Bridgewater, Somerset

Junction 24

Project requirement:

Junction 24 decided to have a solar installation fitted onto the roof of the livestock centre after realising that they could get a good return on the initial investment they would make as well as lowering their electric bill and help reduce their effect on the environment. Junction 24 had some idea of what they wanted to achieve from the project, but needed some guidance from the MIG renewables team.

The solution:

After the team from Junction 24 visited the MIG Renewable Technologies showroom in Exmouth, MIG Renewable Technologies installed 978 x 255W solar panels onto the livestock centre with an SMA inverter.

The result:

The 249.39kWp Pv system has produced 4,206kWh in three weeks since the installation, although being installed in December of 2015 (meaning very low radiation levels) and saved 2.9 tonnes CO² emission.

Words from the client:

‘We knew exactly what was going on and when. We were kept well informed at all times and the team were polite and friendly. It was an easy and hassle free project.’
